Filters are a choice, not a truth. This is the choice Velvet Press made for CTO alerts:
- market cap at least $50.0K
- liquidity at least $10.0K
- at least 50 holders
- top-10 wallets holding at most 40 %
In the 48 most recent lane alerts at build time (about 11 hours), 18 passed this screen. Those that passed had a median market cap of $138.2K, median liquidity of $32.6K and about 1299 holders. No alert in the sample had a pool smaller than 10 % of its cap. Median concentration in the lane: 25 % of supply in the top ten wallets.

Why CTO

Put simply, a team that pays for a boost or edits its screener page is spending effort. Velvet Press reads CTO to see where that effort goes and whether holders follow.
Quick test: Read the deployer's history: earlier launches, how long they lasted and how they ended. Confirm new social links point to accounts with real history, not accounts created that day.

The same short routine, every time.
- Open the chart and confirm the pool, the pair and the liquidity figure.
- Check the first minutes for same-block buys from linked wallets.
- Write down the level that proves you wrong before any buy.
- Work from the contract address; tickers repeat across chains and copies.
- Check whether mint and freeze authorities are revoked where the chain allows them.
- Check holder concentration after excluding pool and burn wallets.
